Local Dog-Friendly Beaches

You’re not the only one who likes to spend the day at the beach. Your dog would love to also, and you can make it happen by taking him out to one of these dog-friendly spots in Pensacola. Your pup will love frolicking in the sand and the surf, and you’ll have a blast watching him. Load up a toy or two, grab a bottle of water for each of you, and get ready to make some memories with your furry friend on these dog-friendly beaches.

Pensacola Beach

How many hours have you spent soaking up rays at Pensacola Beach? Countless, right? Next time you go, bring your pup with you. Start at Pensacola Beach Dog Beach West. You’ll find this beach on Fort Pickens Road. Just go past the last set of condos, and you’ll see a parking lot. Park your vehicle in the parking lot, and then get out and play with Fido.

Then you can move onto Pensacola Beach Dog Beach East. This is on Via de Luna Drive in Lot E.

You do need to keep your pup on a leash at this beach, but he’ll love the experience. Take him down to the water and let him splash around a bit before you head back home.

Perdido Key Dog Park

If you find yourself on River Road, head over to Perdido Key Dog Park. It’s located right behind the Lost Key Golf Park, and unlike the parks at Pensacola Beach, leashes are not required. The area is fenced in, and it even has a pavilion if you want to get out of the sun. Your dog will love running down to the water off his leash. He’ll be the happiest pup around by the time he gets done.

You know how to make your pup happy, but what about you? What would put a smile on your face? How about a new Buick or GMC? Yeah, that should do it. Visit us at McKenzie Motors Buick GMC in Milton, Florida, and pick up some new wheels. Then, you can drive Fido to the dog park and go everywhere else you want to go. You can’t help but have fun when you’re in a new vehicle.
